About Kay Galloway
Kay Galloway has spent more than 20 years in the field of advertising and marketing.
After graduating from Savannah College of Art & Design, she began her career at a Kaufmann Associates in St. Simons Island, GA. While there she created print, brochures and ad campaigns for their primary client, Sea Island The Cloister, a 5-star luxury resort nestled on the east coast of Georgia. She also designed a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine, The Golden Isles, and a bi-weekly newspaper, Coastal Illustrated.
Utilizing her publishing experience, Galloway moved to Patch Publishing, a publishing company located in Titusville, FL. She designed their monthly signature photographer's magazine, Shutterbug and developed their first photo professional's magazine, PhotoPro.
After moving to the Daytona Beach Area, Galloway worked for International Speedway Corporation (ISC) in their creative department (ISC Creative). There she designed souvenir program covers, race tickets, ads, the Daytona USA Guide, artwork for the Daytona USA attraction, racing logos, marketing & sponsorship books and more.
Then Galloway headed back to tourism to become the Director of Advertising for the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Her duties included overseeing their annual 2 million dollar-plus advertising budget while designing all of their marketing collaterals. She then worked for the Bureau as a Media & Design Consultant. Her relationship with the Bureau still continues after 16 years.
Currently Kay Galloway is the President of Kay Galloway Marketing and Design located in Ormond Beach, FL.
